“Education is one thing no one can take away from you.”
- Elin Nordegren
In developing countries, there are many people who do not understand the importance of female education. Some people think that it is waste of money to spend on girl’s education on the ground that the girls will be married and then they will go elsewhere. Dowry system has also given a strong impact. That is why most of our girls are uneducated.
An educated daughter can help her parents in many ways. If she is uneducated, she cannot prepare herself for her father in law’s house. She may have to lead a miserable life there. If she is not educated, man’s half part will be paralyzed. An uneducated wife will not be able to give good advice to her husband. She will not relieve her husband of his economic burden if necessity arises. As a mother, a woman has to care her children carefully. If she is uneducated, she cannot build the character of her children properly. Beside this, they can hold high posts in the government offices. They can hold the rein of the country. Hence the necessity of women education is great.
“If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.”
“I don’t know why people have divided the whole world into two groups (West and East). Education is neither eastern nor western. Education is education and it’s the right of every human being.”
-Malala Yousafzai
