The farmer is a person whose occupation is farming. Many farmers keep buffaloes and cows. The farmer is a very useful member of the society. It is he who supplied us with food.
A farmer’s dress is very simple. He wears a dhoti. One the occasion of the marriage and festivals he wears a new dress. Generally his dress is dirty. He seldom wears shoes.
The farmer spends his whole life with his land and cattle. He works from dawn to dusk. He leaves bed before sunrise. He feed oxen, puts his plough on his shoulders and goes to his field. He ploughs the land till noon. Then he comes back home and takes his simple food. When it is evening, he returns home. In this way he works hard. He follows this routine throughout the tear. Scorching heat, heavy rain and biting cold do not stand in his way.
The farmer spends a miserable life. He grows crops but starves. He does not get enough food. He has not enough clothes for winter. He cannot afford good education to his children. He does not get medical facilities for himself and children. Most farmers are illiterate. Their condition needs reforms.
