It is said that forests were the places where human evolution took place. Even today many people live in the forest. So the forest is an important place. In the past, Nepal was rich in the forest resource but now only 29% of the total land has forests.
According to the geographical diversity, we can find three different kinds of forests in Nepal. They are the tropical evergreen forests found in Nepal. They are the tropical evergreen forests in the Terai region, Bhavar, and Doons, the deciduous forests on the lower altitude of the Mahabharat and the lower altitude of the Himalayan region. These forests have valuable trees of different kinds.

We can get many advantages from the forest. The forest is the habitat for many kinds of creatures which are the parts of an ecosystem. They provide us with raw materials for several industries like furniture industry; match and paper industries and herbal industries. We get gums, resin and many other useful materials from there. Forest protects the lives of millions of wild creatures. Where there are thick forests, there is plenty of rain.
It has some disadvantages, too. The people who live near the forest are suffering from the wild animals. It has occupied more lands where we can grow more crops for hungry people and provide land for homeless people.
Conservation of forests is necessary. If the forests are destroyed, there will be a great problem of ecological balance. The forest and the wildlife are bound up with each other. In fact, man is also bound up with them. If anyone of them is disturbed, the others will be doomed, deforestation leads to soil erosion, loss of the fertility of soil, and flood. So forests must be conserved.
The forest is a quiet place if only the best birds sing. https://myknowledgetoyoudude.blogspot.com/2018/09/essay-on-forest-in-nepal.html
Forest of Nepal is declining. This is because of population growth and due to human greed and ignorance. The strict law should be made and brought into force. Our forest should be preserved at any cost. The governments, as well as private sectors, are expected to make and apply concrete plans to preserve it. It is said that preservation of the forests is our own preservation.
...Thank You...
